Oprah sits down with Lance Armstrong. Thursday January 17, 2013 Next Chapter

The whole world is talking and I do mean talking. While listening to the radio in my small town in Canada I heard them discussing this upcoming interview with Oprah and Lance Armstrong. I can only imagine how much the rest of the world is talking. Next Chapter airs Thursday night at a special time. Check Oprah.com for the times in your area. You really don’t want to miss this.

Everyone has an opinion. So many people have all rooted for Lance Armstrong at one point in his life. I am included in the so many. Lance Armstrong is a former professional road racing cyclists who has won the “Tour de France” seven times. Just imagine being so good that you can win the Tour de France seven times. Lance Armstrong was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1996. It had spread to his brain and lungs. He won the battle with cancer and continued to win another Tour de France. Shortly after he received treatment he formed the Livestrong Foundation. Do you remember the yellow bracelets with Live Strong written on them? They were a huge fundraiser that helped bring awareness and money for research for cancer through the Livestrong Foundation. Lance Armstrong has made a huge difference in the fight against cancer.

In June 2012, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) charged lance Armstrong with having used illicit performance-enhancing drugs. He was stripped of all of his medals and was banned from racing. He has always claimed that he did not use drugs. He will sit with Oprah and tell the world his story. In this exclusive interview the world is talking about there are so many judgements. I am certain he is talking to Oprah as he feels she will be non judgemental. Myself I wish him peace. I hope this interview is his path to peace.

If you do not have OWN in your area you can watch this interview stream live online on Facebook or on Oprah.com.
