Super Soul Sunday takes us to Church weekly. Today we will have the opportunity to learn from Oprah and Devon Franklin.
Devon Franklin is the Author of “Produced By Faith” an ordained preacher as well as Senior VP of Production at Columbia Pictures. I know your thinking wow, how does he hang on to his faith while living his dream life in Hollywood.
This past Friday night #OWNAmbassadors had a tweet party to discuss “Produced By Faith” as it was our book club selection this month. Devon Franklin was gracious enough to join us. He truly is an inspiring soul. I’m sure that every question someone tweeted him he took the time to answer. I’m pleased to say that “Produced By Faith” was trending quickly.
I have read every one of Oprah’s Book Club suggestions as well as hundreds of other books. I love to recommend a good book. If you haven’t read “Produced By Faith” download it now on Itunes or drop by your local book store and pick it up. Devon Franklin shows us all you have to have “Faith.”
Today you will get the chance to see why we are so excited about Devon Franklin and why we feel he has something to teach us all. Join Oprah on Super Soul Sunday live around the world as she and Devon teach us how to have success without loosing yourself. He shows us how to discover our life’s purpose.

I am not sure there was anyone in this world more excited than I when I heard Oprah had announced she was reviving her book club. It took me three minutes to download the book. She announced the first book we will be reading is by Wild by Cheryl Strayed.
Admittedly I have not read very many books since Oprah ended her book club. I have tweeted her on several occasions to please bring it back. I guess many others did as well as it is back.
The new format allows you to be more interactive with Oprah while reading. I love it. As my schedule is hectic as of late I am making myself find the time to read. Reading is a passion that I should not have set aside. Thanks Oprah for reminding me to take time to read and enjoy the simple things in life.
I have started reading “Wild” and I love it. I cannot imagine being a young woman and deciding to trek through the unknown in hopes of finding myself. I wonder if Cheryl was really looking for herself or if she was just running away? I don’t want to say too much about the book in case you have not started reading it. I encourage you to download it or pick up a copy at your local bookstore. Your gonna love it.
You can also view Oprah’s favorite quotes and then you can join in the discussion on Oprah.com to to share your thoughts with other readers around the world.
