Do you remember watching The Oprah Winfrey Show? It seems like so long ago that Oprah walked on stage and announced that she was ending her talk show. I guess it seems like so long ago for me as I have truly been missing that one hour in my day that I called my Oprah lesson time.
I spent seem time this weekend reflecting on what I was missing. I realized I was missing the habit of sitting down at three everyday to tune into watch Oprah. Then it hit me, she is still teaching me the lessons I need to learn. I am learning them on OWN.
Oprah is still in your living room. She is just on at a different time and in my opinion a great channel. Have you been watching Oprah’s Next chapter? If not, why not? If you are, what are your thoughts? After a long work week Sunday Night is my Oprah lesson night. I absolutely love Oprah’s Next Chapter. This week she interviewed the great Miami Heat men. The lessons from these amazing basketball players were over the top. Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are humbled and have taught us all that anything is possible. They also taught us that if your trying to succeed to prove someone wrong, you will never have the energy to succeed. Part two is on this Sunday Night.
For over 25 years Oprah has been teaching me about the world and about myself. She has inspired and encouraged us all to Live Our Best Life. I’m living mine thanks to her and her great advice. She has been a Friend, Mentor and Teacher to so many of us. Lets show her how much we appreciate her and support her OWN Network.
