Cristina Ferrare’s many accomplishments in life include being a, Mom, Model, Actor, Best-selling Author and Talk Show Host. It was her love of food and amazing cooking that got me hooked on Cristina Ferrare’s Big Bowl of Love. Like many Moms I have cooked hundreds of meals raising a family and it is always nice to find new recipes. I first saw Christina on The Oprah Winfrey Show where she shared her love of cooking with Oprah. Oprah loved her cooking so much that she has featured Christina on OWN and in O (The Oprah Magazine) as well as a regular contributor to Oprah.com. “Christina is probably the best cook I’ve ever met, other than Maya Angelou and my own mother” Oprah Winfrey.
Last New Year’s Eve my young Daughter was cooking party food for over 30 people. She chose several recipes from “Big Bowl of Love”. The recipes were a huge hit. The guests at the party raved about the food. The Taco Bites with homemade guacamole were delicious and easy to make. The Steak Bruschetta was also easy to prepare and mouth watering. Whether you are looking for a new salad recipe, appetizers, comfort food or something special, Christina has recipes for every occasion.
We are honored that Cristina agreed to allow us to feature her on our website. Last year I tweeted her asking for suggestions on a recipe and she replied with a great rib recipe idea. She is very friendly and approachable.
